The Hammer Strikes

Two on, two out, bottom of the ninth. Twins down by two, Josh Wlllingham at the plate. One mighty blast later, the Twins have another dramatic ninth inning win 3-2.

This is getting kind of fun. New starter, Cole DeVries struggled with control early but still managed 5 shutout innings. The problem was the Twins offense. Until the end. Willingham has had some trouble at the plate lately, but he took care of that with one swing of the bat. That was his fifth career walk-off homerun.

I'm trying to take this season one game at a time. Last night was a good one.
