It was a great day to be a Minnesota sports fan yesterday.
The Vikings got their new stadium (barring weirdness in the two branches final compromise bill.)
The Twins called up Scott Diamond and he shutout the Angels 5-0. Hope for the future arrived yesterday and he may be more than just a "diamond in the rough." Oh, and Doumit hit ANOTHER homerun.
Finally, the kid in me re-emerged yesterday when I watched replays of Josh Hamilton's FOUR homeruns yesterday. Baseball can still be very cool if you let it. Knowing each was a 2-run homer satisfied the symmetry in me as well.
I might even post a little bit more later today.
