Chris Parmalee has been optioned to Rochester to make room for Morneau on the roster. Morneau's blast in his his first game back was a pleasure to behold. Here's hoping He keeps getting better from here on out.
The Twins have finally admitted that Carl Pavano's shoulder is starting to show wear from all the innings he's pitched for them the last few seasons. The MRI showed no real damage but the inflammation is causing him to change his pitching style and speed. The Twins are hoping that a little rest will help what's ailing him. Regular cortisone shots will be next if that doesn't work.
Stat of the Day: Joe Mauer went 0-5 yesterday as his batting average has now dropped to .265.
