Yes, the Twins got clobbered yesterday, but there was a fun bright spot, catcher Drew Butera pitched a very good inning of relief.
He hadn't pitched since high school but he did end up throwing a 94 mile an hour fastball, and averaged OVER 91 MPH for all of his fastballs. He walked a batter but he also struck out former Twin Carlos Gomez.
His ERA? 0.00
Maybe the Twins should use him more in this role. He seems better than a lot of our other prospects.
I'm serious.
