Still Waiting

The re-worked stadium compromise bill passed the house early this morning. The senate needs to okay it yet. That's not supposed to be a problem, BUT at this point who knows? The Vikings don't like having to pay more money as part of their share, but they have made it clear that they are willing to do so.

We're also still waiting for Francisco Liriano to become a good pitcher. The Twins have decided his next stop should be the bullpen. IF he performs poorly there, the Twins will have to consider more drastic options and I don't think there are many Twins fans left that will argue that Liriano is too good to release or trade. He's had his chance. He's had several chances. He's just not very good.

  1. Sounds like the stadium is going to happen. Now we can enjoy this coming season knowing there's time to improve.

  2. It does take the pressure off. I think it helps that they waited this long AFTER the season to vote. It was a horrible couple of seasons but now we're getting antsy to see some football again.

    We want OUR Vikings.
