College Football

Bama beat Georgia last night in a really, really great game. Georgia needed to go 85 yards in a minute and 18 seconds to get a touchdown and pull off the upset. They made it 81 yards as time ran ran out.

Alabama had over 350 yards rushing and Georgia stayed close with a more balanced attack. In the end number TWO beat number THREE, and number Four (Florida) whose only loss this year was to number three Georgia could only sit home and watch.

Without a "scheduled playoff" college football pulled off perhaps its greatest season ever. And there's still a Natioanl Championship game to look forward to in January between number ONE Notre Dame and number Two Alabama.

Last night's GREAT game would have been meaningless if they had a four game tournament in the post season. Instead we saw them playing for it all LAST night, both teams knowing there was no tomorrow for the loser.

Super game. Super season.

With one more game to go.
