Loveless Wolves Win In Rubio Return

You get the feeling that this Wolves' squad is substantially better than past years.

Ricky Rubio came in last night with the Wolves down 28-18. The instantly became a different team and by night's end they pulled off their fourth straight win.

The fourth quarter was almost a complete collapse, but they scored the first TEN in OT and ended up wih an easy win anyway. Love was actually expecting to play in spite of his recently dislocated thumb, but came down with the flu just before game time.

Rubio's shooting wasn't especially sharp in his return (but let's face it, his shooting has never been especially sharp) but his passing at times was spectacular.  I'm still waiting for him NOT to throw low passes across the middle, though as he gets every single one of those picked off.

Overall, they were sloppy last night. Their defense, especially in the fourth quarter was nonexistent. But they beat  a struggling Dallas team, and that's how you eventually get a record good enough to qualify for the playoffs. At 12-9 the season is about 1/4 over. I'll take it. I pictured so much worse.
