DUI of the Day

Josh Brent of the Dallas Cowboys was driving drunk early Saturday morning. His practice squad teammate Jerry Brown died in the resulting accident. Brent has a history of drunk driving.

I know I harp on this a lot, but I'm so sick of our society not making drunk driving a major crime. People die needlessly when drunk drivers are allowed to keep drinking and driving. It is a big deal an Jerry Brown was just the latest victim.

Pro sports can set the example. You get caught ONCE, you are done for the season. You get caught again? You're DONE. No more stupid deaths. Over 10,000 this year alone. And the number keeps growing. Why don't we take this seriously?
