Twins Sign Lousy Pitcher

I'm guessing the Twins wished they had signed Scott Baker now. Yesterday, they ended up paying The Pirates 5th starter $10 million for two years. I'm not even going to bother writing his name. His stats are worse than nearly every other starter we've had in the last five years. Just another example of how bad the Twins and Terry Ryan have begun at this off season acquisition business.

We have a roster full of minor leaguers better than this guy, a guy most thought would sign a ONE year deal worth $2.5 million.

Twins fans are ready to riot. Why SAVE money on guys like Span if you are simply going to turn around and waste it on a guy who probably won't be good enough to make your roster?

I think I'm going to find another baseball team to follow this year. This one has completely lost its way.
