Kevin Love got an eye injury against OKC Thursday night, as a result he will miss tonight's Knick's game.
Here's hoping the eye gets better. It looked like he got it scraped pretty good at the the end of that OKC game. As often as injuries like that happen, I'm kind of surprised more NBA players don't where goggles like Kareem used to wear.
More stylish, and lighter of course, but it would be a good trend to see develop. Superstatrs could each have their own "look" like goalie masks in hockey. They could then sell these things to kids who could wear them in their games. Win, win, for everybody.
I wear sunglasses in the summertime when I play and discovered that they aren't as uncomfortable as I thought they'd be. If players can wear those odd full-face masks for nose injuries, goggles should be a snap.
