Love and Pekovic

These two players seem to be going in opposite directions.

Love was 4 -18 from the floor last night, his hand still givng him problems. Worse? It looked like he dislocated his thumb on his shooting hand just before the game ended, X-rays were negative, but an already bad shooting hand just got worse.

Nikola Pekovic, on the other hand (get it?) was fanatastic last night. He was 14-18 with nine rebounds and 31 points. Their other big-man teammate,  Andrei Kirenko added 21 points and 11 rebounds of his own.

In the end, the Wolves had their third straight win and they looked very good doing it.

Rumors are circulating that Rickey Rubio may be returning to the lineup as early as tonight. At one time, that would have been great news for me, but now that we have other guards doing great work out there, I'm afraid he may mess with the incredible chemistry that the team has now.

Ridnour had 15 points and 10 rebounds. Alexey Shved had 13 points and  J.J. Barea, running the team like a well oiled machine, ended up with 12 of his own. The passing, the team play, the balance in scoring, and tough defense were amazing to watch.

Here's hoping Rubio fits in well. What they have now is really pretty good.
